Bathing

Bathing

Whether it is just to “freshen up” or help eliminate that awful skunk smell, our kennel staff is second to none when it comes to bathing your pets.

Our staff treats your pet to a Hydro-Surge bath that therapeutically cleans the skin, removing particles, dander or debris that may gather with a massaging action that penetrates the even the heaviest, thickest coats. Your pet is thoroughly checked to determine any skin problems or suspected conditions that you may want evaluated by your veterinarian.

While here, we offer discounted services with the bath such as nail trims, anal gland expression, ear cleaning, sanitary shave, etc.

Medicated Baths

There are many indications for medicated baths in animals. One of the most common reasons for using a medicated bath is to treat ‘itchy’ skin. Another common condition responsive to medicated baths is seborrhea. Medicated baths are recommended after your pet has been examined and the skin problem properly diagnosed by a veterinarian. Keep in mind that unusual things such as hypothyroidism can be the cause of a skin problem in your pet.

DeShed Treatment

Get rid of excessive shedding. Try our new DeShed Treatment. The process begins with FURminator DeShed Shampoo which untangles shedding problems during the bath. It is formulated to reduce unwanted shedding with three unique herbal blends from the experts in deshedding tools. The next step is the application of FURminator DeShed solution which helps remove undercoat and loosen hair before brushing. After drying, your pet will then be treated to a brush out with the world famous FURminator DeShedding tool to easily and gently remove the undercoat and loose hair without cutting or damaging the dog’s delicate skin. The DeShed treatment takes additional time and brushing so the treatment is an additional charge to our regular groom or bath prices. For more information on the process, visit our DeShed page.
