Friendly Boarding Services for Your Cat or Dog
Pets can have vacations, too. At Harpeth Hills Animal Hospital, new and existing clients are offered comfortable boarding facilities for cats and dogs. Our large indoor facility is temperature-controlled and sparkling clean, just for your beloved animal companion. And our friendly staff is always eager to give each pet lots of love and attention.
What to expect
While staying at Harpeth Hills Animal Hospital, your pet will receive:
Dogs
- Two leashed walks per day in our securely fenced yard
- Two feedings per day
- Administration of medication, as requested
- Feeding of specialized diets or owner-supplied treats
- Bathing, as requested
- Extra walks, as requested
Cats
- Two feedings per day
- Administration of medication, as requested
- Feeding of specialized diets or owner-supplied treats
- Bathing, as requested
- Extra play time, as requested
Drop off and pick up
Pet owners may drop off their animal companions at these times:
- Drop Offs: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Pick Ups: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- There is no longer drop off or pickup on Saturdays.
Please contact us for drop off and pick up times for boarders receiving vaccinations or bathing services.
Friendly list of dos and don’ts
Dos:
- Bring any current medications
- Bring your own food or treats, if you would like
- Ensure your pet has the necessary vaccinations
- Request a pick-up appointment time, if needed
- Fill out our online boarding form or print it out and bring it with you to expedite check-in time
Don'ts
- Bring bedding, bowls, or leads
- Drop off or pick up your pet outside the designated times

Bathing is important to your pet’s health and happiness. Our practice offers routine and medical bathing for cats and dogs of all ages. Whether freshening up or managing a long-term skin condition, your pet is in good hands with our friendly and knowledgeable staff.
What to expect
During bathing services at our hospital, your pet will receive a:
- Hydro-surge bath that therapeutically cleans the skin and hair
- Thorough check for skin problems
- Medicated baths, as needed
